Based on the historic Miraculous Medal first created in 1830 France, this medallion captures the Virgin Mary in her most iconic pose — arms outstretched in blessing, as seen by St. Catherine Labouré in her vision.

The Latin inscription reads Regina Sine Labe Originali Concepta (“Queen conceived without original sin”), while O.P.N. stands for ora pro nobis — “pray for us.”
